Information handled by the service

F4Facebook processes the public link submitted for the active request so it can locate media options made available by Facebook. Successful and failed submitted links may be stored temporarily in a local SQLite queue and sent in compact hourly summaries to the operator's configured private Telegram chat. Server-side links are normalized to remove nonessential query data; browser-validation values are accepted only from configured same-origin pages and are length bounded.

Queued link rows are deleted after confirmed delivery, while failed sends remain queued for retry. Anonymous counters store only the UTC day, failure category, and count. Media download URLs are not stored, and video files are not stored. The application does not intentionally write submitted links to normal production logs. Do not submit private links, credentials, cookies, or access tokens.

IP addresses, rate limits, and hosting

Like any web service, the hosting stack receives an IP address to deliver a response. Flask-Limiter processes the request address for abuse prevention and rate limiting. The repository does not define a verified retention period or hosting region, so this policy does not invent either fact.

Google AdSense and advertising technology

Pages approved as substantial editorial inventory can load the Google AdSense tag. When that tag is present, the browser may send Google information such as the page URL and IP address. Google and its partners may use cookies or local storage for advertising delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and personalization according to the visitor's consent and settings. The F4Facebook application does not currently set its own application cookie, but that is separate from cookies or storage used by Google advertising technology. Visitors can review personalization choices through Google Ads Settings. Consent controls and applicable privacy rights depend on the visitor's location and the advertising configuration.

Analytics and application cookies

No analytics provider is configured. The browser analytics interface is a no-op until an owner explicitly connects a provider, and its allowlist excludes submitted URLs and video identifiers. No application cookie is set by the current F4Facebook code, and no application account is created.

Third-party media delivery

Videos are not hosted by F4Facebook. A download may be delivered from the original platform's content network, so the browser and that provider handle the resulting request under their respective policies.
